You’ll perform essential safety checks and service inspections on large trucks, buses, and other commercial vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, efficient, and roadworthy.
Using specialist diagnostic tools and systems, you’ll identify and repair mechanical or electrical issues, helping keep vehicles in top working condition.
From engines and transmissions to chassis, suspension, braking, and electrical systems. You’ll repair, replace, and fine-tune components to manufacturer standards.
At Remit we offer apprenticeships (eg. Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician) designed for school-leavers and career changers alike.
You’ll train in modern workshops and academies, learning from experienced professionals and using industry-standard tools.
Your curriculum will cover health & safety, inspection routines, systems (engine, braking, chassis, transmission, electrical), diagnostics and more.
You’ll work with an employer, receive on-job mentoring, block release training, and finish with a Level 3 qualification and readiness for the field.
