Our Learning Support & Inclusion team are dedicated to enabling your success.
The Learning Support and Inclusion team are passionate about removing barriers to learning, and help you realise your potential and achieve your learning goals.
We offer support across all Apprenticeship programmes, and will visit and guide you in the workplace, assisting you through all the elements of your course, if needed, including assessments and exams.
This support and guidance is to enable you to access all available opportunities and to have the most positive learning experience whilst with Remit. Whatever learning difficulty or disability you may have, we will endeavour to offer you tailored support to match your individual needs.
We work with our Apprentice Development Coaches, other internal services and external organisations to provide a person-centred approach. The support we offer is reviewed regularly and our aim, where possible, is to enable and guide you towards independence.
As a supportive and inclusive training provider, Remit adhere to the SEND Code of Practice 2014 and is part of the ‘Local Offer’.
From September 2014, Local Authorities, schools and colleges are required to review and present information about services to children and young people from 0 – 25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is called ‘Local Offer’. The intention is for children, young people, carers, parents and professionals to have access to up to date and relevant information regarding services available. We have added our information to the ‘Local Offer’ to increase the opportunities available to you.
