Case Study: NP Aerospace Class of 2026: Investing in Skills, Leadership & Talent Development

NP Aerospace

Remit Training - NP Aerospace Case Study

Overview

NP Aerospace is a leading provider of advanced armour solutions for defence and security markets. With a strong focus on long-term growth and innovation, NP Aerospace recognises that investing in people is essential to sustaining success across the business.

In partnership with Remit and other learning providers, NP Aerospace launched its new Learning & Development “Class of 2026” programme, designed to support skills development, career progression, and future leadership capability.

The Challenge

As NP Aerospace continues to grow, ensuring employees across all areas of the business have access to high-quality learning and development opportunities is critical. The organisation wanted a structured programme that would:

  • Support employees at different stages of their careers
  • Offer recognised leadership and vocational qualifications
  • Align individual development with long-term business goals

The Solution

To meet these objectives, NP Aerospace launched the Class of 2026 programme with an onsite event at its Coventry facility, bringing together staff and members of the Leadership Team.

The programme will support around 60 employees from across the business, offering a range of development pathways including:

  • ILM Level 3 and ILM Level 5 leadership programmes
  • Apprenticeship courses, such as CIM Marketing
  • Specialist technical training, including Vehicle Technician programmes

Remit, alongside other learning and development partners including S&A, played a key role in supporting the delivery and launch of the programme.

The Impact

The Class of 2026 programme represents a significant investment in NP Aerospace’s workforce, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to developing talent internally and creating clear progression opportunities.

By offering a mix of leadership, professional, and technical training, the programme ensures employees can build the skills needed to support both their own career ambitions and the future success of the business.

What NP Aerospace Says

Max Mountford, HR Manager at NP Aerospace, commented:

“At NP Aerospace, we believe that people are at the heart of our business growth and progress. Skills development is an investment in our team’s future but also the success of the company, and we are delighted to support this journey of opportunity, ambition and career development for all of our new apprentices and ILM students.”

Partnership Approach

The launch event highlighted the collaborative approach taken by NP Aerospace and its learning partners, bringing together employees, leadership, and training providers to celebrate the start of the Class of 2026 journey.
