Retail Apprenticeships.

The team at Remit are well organised and are meticulous in arranging their meetings, with their learners and go out of their way to ensure that all learners are well supported. We also have a monthly meeting to discuss progress of learners and address any areas of concern, agreeing strategies to overcome any issues. This has led to an excellent working partnership. 

We have had a steady stream of successful learners through a range of programmes at Level 2 to Level 5 with Remit. Some learners have required additional support, which Remit have gone above and beyond in supporting.  There are regular review meetings where we discuss how we work together to find the best route to success for our learners as we genuinely feel that apprenticeships give our staff an opportunity to grow, learn and develop new skills and ways of working that ultimately support the outcomes for people we support. 

It’s been about 9 years we’ve been in partnership for which has been an absolutely unbelievable journey. We work in absolute unity with Remit, they’ve worked with us to really understand our culture, our DNA, what’s needed for our people, the Development Coaches talk in our language, they really understand Stonegate as a business and that’s a partnership.

Our long-established relationship with Remit has led to hundreds of students graduating with the skills needed to develop long careers within Park’s, with many of them promoted to senior roles within the business. Remit is an integral part of our business, and their professionalism, collaboration, and methodical approach is an exceptional fit for our business needs. We’re also very happy with their Motherwell training centre and their complementary recruitment that maximizes the efficiency of our apprenticeship pipeline.

Not only has Janai successfully completed his apprenticeship but he also earned the prestigious recognition of being Highly Commended at the World Skills UK finals! Out of over 6,000 participants, Janai's achievement is truly outstanding and is proof of his dedication and talent. Janai is now set to transition from apprentice to a permanent member of the Castles UK IT team. Well done Janai - we're very proud!
