The IRTEC Advanced Technician Assessment is designed to certify your most experienced technicians across advanced electrical, mechanical, chassis and braking systems. Valid for 5 years, this industry-recognised licence demonstrates technical excellence and inspection competence.
Developed by the IRTE and accredited by IMI, IRTEC is the benchmark for self-regulation in road transport maintenance. It gives your workshop the ability to maintain credibility, safety, and skill assurance – all underpinned by rigorous practical and theoretical testing.
This 3-day assessment programme is delivered on-site nationwide or at our accredited Derby Academy, and includes a short familiarisation session to prepare technicians for the online exam.
