The Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative apprenticeship develops skilled warehouse operatives with the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to carry out the core activities that support safe, accurate and efficient warehouse operations. Apprentices build practical expertise in goods receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch while developing confidence using warehouse technology and stock control processes.
Develop practical understanding of goods receipt, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and warehouse workflow activities while supporting safe and efficient warehouse operations.
Build knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk assessments, workplace responsibilities and safe working practices within warehouse and logistics environments.
Develop understanding of sustainable working practices, waste reduction, recycling, packaging management and environmental responsibilities across warehouse operations.
Build capability in loading, unloading, handling and moving products safely while improving task planning and operational efficiency.
Develop confidence using warehouse technology, barcode scanners, digital systems, data entry processes and automated picking tools while understanding cyber security and GDPR requirements.
Strengthen understanding of stock control processes, stock taking activities, inventory accuracy, reporting stock discrepancies and escalation procedures.
