Why we chose Remit? Automotive is the core for Remit..it’s also their ability to change. The automotive industry is changing massively and it’s changing quicker and quicker and Remit have that ability to change and it’s driven all the way through. We’ve worked with the Scottish arm of the business for some years now and we’ve found that relationship to be really productive so my thoughts would be that would spread across the business, and my thoughts would be correct.

Our long-established relationship with Remit has led to hundreds of students graduating with the skills needed to develop long careers within Park’s, with many of them promoted to senior roles within the business. Remit is an integral part of our business, and their professionalism, collaboration, and methodical approach is an exceptional fit for our business needs. We’re also very happy with their Motherwell training centre and their complementary recruitment that maximizes the efficiency of our apprenticeship pipeline.

We have had a steady stream of successful learners through a range of programmes at Level 2 to Level 5 with Remit. Some learners have required additional support, which Remit have gone above and beyond in supporting.  There are regular review meetings where we discuss how we work together to find the best route to success for our learners as we genuinely feel that apprenticeships give our staff an opportunity to grow, learn and develop new skills and ways of working that ultimately support the outcomes for people we support. 

Apprenticeships represent a key investment for the future of Scania and the wider automotive industry. We are delighted to have been able to select Remit Training as our new training provider and look forward to welcoming the next generation of apprentices into our dealer network.

Not only has Janai successfully completed his apprenticeship but he also earned the prestigious recognition of being Highly Commended at the World Skills UK finals! Out of over 6,000 participants, Janai's achievement is truly outstanding and is proof of his dedication and talent. Janai is now set to transition from apprentice to a permanent member of the Castles UK IT team. Well done Janai - we're very proud!
