The IT Technical Salesperson apprenticeship is suitable for those employers looking to upskill existing colleagues or recruit and train new apprentices into the workplace. The purpose of this apprenticeship is to enable learners to gain the relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours who will sell technical products and services. They need a good knowledge and understanding of the portfolio of technologies and services that are available. They work to maintain good relationships with existing clients, gaining repeat business wherever possible from customers both internal and external, UK or internationally. They also approach potential customers with the aim of winning new business. They maintain a thorough understanding of existing technologies and those that are emerging.
Working as an individual or as part of a team the apprentice will gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours to enable them to successfully carry out tasks and meet work targets and objectives.
