A Senior Production Chef apprentice will already hold a relevant level 2 qualification. With this apprenticeship they will further develop their cooking skills as a chef and will learn how to lead a team of commis chefs in a challenging commercial kitchen environment.
They will have to learn to work efficiently and independently to produce meals for their customers and these will often be to specific standards depending on your organisation’s menus. They will have to ensure they have excellent organisation skills and develop techniques to remain calm and focused in an often hot and highly pressured environment.
The apprentice will be supporting other team members with their development ensure they have a strong team working with them.
