A Process Operator apprentice will develop their capability to contribute to a more productive working environment through a combination of developed skills, behaviours and industry knowledge that will enhance their confidence and abilities whilst working within a food production/manufacturing environment.
The apprentice will be able to carry out a number of activities within a food manufacturing environment using a range of techniques, tools and equipment allowing them to develop basic fault finding and problem solving skills in addition to a range of good manufacturing practices including the safe and hygienic handling of food, HACCP, health and safety, the following of standard operating procedures (SOP) along with understanding the importance of meeting and exceeding the required product quality and delivering the correct quantity as expected by your customers.
As part of the programme the apprentice will also complete a level 2 diploma in food and drink operations, which must be completed prior to the commencement of the end point assessment.
