The apprentice will be assessed against specific criteria and the assessment process will take a synoptic approach, encompassing the apprentice’s overall performance whilst carrying out activities within a food manufacturing environment.

The assessment will be carried out by an independent End Point Assessor using methods including knowledge questions, workplace observations and professional discussions.

Once a minimum of a pass has been achieved for each element, a grade will be determined by the independent end point assessor and they will produce an overall grade based on a combination of the apprentice’s performance during all aspects of the assessment process.
