Following the success of last year’s bodyshop Live! awards, nominations are now open for apprentices and senior technicians to nominate themselves, a colleague or a business in this year’s awards.
Remit Group will once again partner Vision Network and bodyshop magazine to support these awards, which are Britain’s only fully independent practical awards for crash repair workers.
The awards are specifically for vehicle refinishing technicians and body repair specialists at all levels, from apprentice up to more experienced technicians. They are designed to promote and recognise excellence and outstanding achievement across the entire collision repair sector and particularly during National Apprenticeship Week hope to inspire the next generation to pursue a career in this industry.
Apprentices are assessed in three categories, including Apprentice Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET), Technician, Apprentice Paint Technician and Apprentice Panel Technician.
Remit Group’s automotive academy in Derby will once again host the practical assessments this year; its industry standard facilities offering the right environment for apprentices and technicians to demonstrate their capabilities and skill levels.
Sue Pittock, Remit Group CEO, said: “We are delighted to sponsor the prestigious bodyshop Live! awards again this year. These awards represent a great opportunity to shine a light on the skills and talent within the UK accident repair industry, and we hope to inspire even more apprentices and qualified technicians to take part in 2020.”
Nominations are now open for all the bodyshop Live! 2020 awards and 30 under 30: rising stars initiative they close on 31st March.
