Adrian Foster, Director, Operations
Adrian is a Director for Remit Showroom. Adrian has nearly 30 years experience within the retail automotive industry having managed finance and insurance at board level for three major dealer groups and installed or repaired finance and insurance programmes in over a hundred dealers. With sales, general and divisional management experience in a wide range of franchised and non-franchised dealerships – plus consultancy experience with both volume and prestige manufacturers- he specialises in delivering process and management change to improve profitability.
Tom Steenson, F&I Development Manager
Tom was Remit Showroom’s first F&I Development Manager, joining in late 2011. Tom joined the motor trade in 1985 as a sales executive and within a year was promoted to business manager, a role that he held until 1990 when he joined Pat Ryan and Associates - now Aon Corporation. From 1998 he spent seven years managing business managers nationally for a large manufacturer-owned group before working for four years managing F&I programmes for an insurance company in China, the Czech Republic & Hungary. Tom’s speciality is ‘calling the bluff’ of people in the showroom who think it can’t be done. He simply rolls up his sleeves and shows them exactly how results can be achieved.
Mike Damant, Senior Consultant
Mike has been with Remit Showroom since inception working on various consulting and training projects in the UK and Europe. With an impressive track record, spanning over 30 years in the motor industry, Mike gets excited by helping individuals reach their true potential. Prior to Remit, Mike led two major automotive ‘Academies’. As principal, Henry Ford College, he was instrumental in the complete overhaul of the curriculum; responsible for the development and delivery of its class-leading management development programme for car, truck and motorcycle personnel. More recently, he has developed and delivered a complete suite of sales process and sales management training modules for one of the largest retailers in Europe. He is also heavily involved in a global retailer improvement consultancy service for a prestige German brand, as well as an induction programme for a luxury sports car brand. He receives consistently high levels of feedback from everyone he engages with.
Rob Foulston, Director
Rob acquired Remit in April 2008. Rob was originally a lawyer in the City and went on to become a Managing Director of Bankers Trust and Deutsche Bank and Head of European Distressed Products at Deutsche Bank. Rob left the City in 2005 and now has a number of business interests in the education, media, leisure and automotive sectors.
Steve is the Chief Operating Officer for Remit Group. Steve has over 25 years experience within the automotive and outsourcing arena's. In the last 15 years he has been instrumental in developing and managing a number of entrerpreneurial solutions for a variety of businesses. Steve has a proven track record as both a change manager and business start up manager and has been responsible for the establishment operationally of the Remit business.
Anthony is the Quality & Group Services Director for Remit Group. Anthony has excelled in his strategic direction and leadership role committed to continually improving quality in the sector throughout the Learner Journey, meeting contractual compliance, quality standards and Awarding Body requirements and is focussed on continuous improvement and development by action planning, implementation and evaluation. Anthony is also on the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) Council.
